Dave Mehrman is a Creative Director and post-production specialist at 11 Dollar Bill’s Chicago studio, where he’s been a core part of the team for over a decade.With 25 years of experience moving through every stage of post-production, Dave’s focus is color grading, VFX compositing, on-set supervision, and finishing — bringing a rare combination of creative leadership and hands-on technical depth to every project. Whether leading a team through a complex finishing pipeline or sitting in the grade himself, he’s equally at home in both roles.His work spans national campaigns for brands like Red Bull, Toyota, Dyson, Zoom, BP, and HP — and he’s increasingly integrating AI tools into production workflows, pushing what’s possible on live projects with RunwayML, ComfyUI, and generative tooling.A Columbia College Chicago graduate with a focus in post-production, Dave has always operated at the intersection of creativity and technology — not as a technician who learned to be creative, but as a filmmaker who never stopped being curious about the tools. That balance is what makes him effective: he understands the tools the way an engineer would, and uses them the way a filmmaker does.
